The movement box represents your health and personal capabilities

The movement box represents your health, personal capabilities and options as an athlete.

When we begin life, our movement box is small.

As a person tries new things and explores more, movement quickly develops in its complexity and size.

By the time you are a young adult you might own a very impressive movement box without many boundaries.

As your life changes, and you are exposed to new, important responsibilities that limit your time to exercise, your movement box shrinks a little.

Then frustratingly, some mysterious pain crops up in your knee from a very old injury.

Since your knee hurts, you shorten your routine runs.

The movement box shrinks some more.

Randomly, one day, you wake up with horrible pain in your foot!

Your friend says it's plantar fasciitis so you go for physical therapy.

It feels better but the result never lasts.

Now you're afraid to run.

And just like that, your movement box shrinks more than it ever has in 18 years.

You try to exercise but you can't get that "feeling" you love.

As a result, you become somewhat depressed.

Depression causes you to give up on trying to exercise as aggressively as you did before.

Your movement box takes a big hit again.

The biggest problem now is fear to move.

Fear creates less movement.

You learn to live with it for years and things are good enough.

Until you get diagnosed with a metabolic issue.

So you snap out of it, get your sh$t together and start exercising the only way you know how - hard!

Only this time it's not foot pain that stops you.

You are now experiencing negative side effects of exercise.

Your doctor says "I'm sorry, you can't squat anymore or exercise hard. Can't you just go do yoga and hope for the best?"

For many people, this cycle is real.

At TMP, we look at the whole person and are dedicated to showing people the truth and helping them earn back their health and fitness through safe, personalized exercise.

When priorities are set and a person is ready to try on something new, the answers are available.

Do you want your movement box back?
