There is no separation between rehabilitation and training here at TMP

At TMP, our clients really appreciate the fact that they get to feel like athletes and not patients.

Even if they are in a recovery process from pain or injury.

To me, there is no separation between rehabilitation and training.

Everyone, at some point, has pain or limitations.

Everyone starts where they are.

The question is, can you intelligently and safely address pain while still working on your fitness at the same time?

In my world, it's the only way.

There is a very big problem right now in healthcare.

For generally healthy people, there is no place for them to receive what they need from most clinical environments.

Not because the clinical way doesn't work, but because the process is not novel and challenging enough to help a healthy brain and body get even healthier.

What typically happens is the person goes through the experience without receiving enough learning.

Remember, improving movement is the process of changing the brain!

You need it to be engaging enough for change to occur.

When their experience is over, the gap between the "clinical way" and the way they expect to use their body is too large.

I've even seen people become more de-conditioned from the process, leaving them at higher risk for being re-injured.

So, please understand that there is a strong need for clinical help.

But, what healthcare really needs is health and fitness professionals that are equipped to help the other half of the demographic.

Namely, individuals that need specific, customized and challenging training to get them the results they deserve!

Now you understand our vision at TMP.

The future of fitness is coming!
