Myth: All exercise is good for you | Truth: It always depends

Myth: All exercise is good for you.

Truth: It always depends.

This especially holds true when a person is experiencing pain or various limiting factors in their performance.

When I educate our general population of clients, I call pain a health problem.

When I educate my fellow nerds, fitness pros, coaches, medical practitioners etc, I call pain a brain problem and go on to explain that pain is an output of the brain and doesn’t live in the body part that you feel it in.

You can’t put fitness over health issues.

You might get away with it for a while.

Most people who attempt this are extremely skilled at it and have been doing it a very very long time!

They are usually unaware of the many different “alarms” going off and how they are related to the decline of their overall health.

At TMP, we understand that everyone is different.

We know how to assess a whole person to find the underlying causes of pain and how to guide them into a program that is safe, effective and personalized to their needs!

When it comes to whether or not exercise is good for you, it always depends.

Our mission and passion is to educate people on what they personally need to accomplish their goals.
