Every brain and body you work with is different and their exercise programming should be too

If there is one thing I've learned in my experience with helping people move and feel better, it's this!

When you start looking at health and performance through a neurological lens, you reveal the humbling truth right away.

Every brain and body you work with is different.

There is no such thing as a protocol.

As much as we might like there to be one, we have to be ok with this. And, eventually it will even bring you peace (eventually, I said!).

I looked around for a very long time exploring lots of different ideas, methods and philosophies. I found some really cool things in the process and also some really egotistical experts that were "certain" about everything.

After a while I could write the script.

After becoming very frustrated and confused I was enlightened by the idea that everyone is, in fact, different in how they respond to various inputs, exercises and heath interventions.

All of a sudden I realized that all this time I had just been building a tool box!

It was up to me to select the right tool, to turn the right screw. Instead of trying to turn all the screws! Which tool will it be?

You have to learn to simply ask the persons brain. Beware of certainty. Follow the truth.

Because, "when all you have is a hammer, everything looks like a nail!"
