Did you know exercising the wrong areas could make a person worse?

Did you know that exercising the wrong areas could actually make a person worse?

And, it can increase the amount of time spent experiencing pain!

Here's the deal.

Our brain is wired for survival.

It will do whatever it needs to do in order to stay alive.

Even if it's not optimal.

Oftentimes, with more traditional methods of training and rehab the wrong areas of the brain are targeted.

When this happens, in essence, "the strong" parts make "the weak" parts weaker!

That's how compensation works.

For generally healthy people this only means that the intervention didn't work very well.

For more sensitive people with deeper health histories it can be devastating.

For athletes, it can create un-breakable plateaus.

At TMP, through extensive neural assessment we can uncover what systems are currently under performing.

Then determine what targeted drills and stimuli are needed to improve performance most easily.

The final goal - engage the nervous system with enough intensity and repetition to create a stable change.

Everyone is different and unique.

That's why we must be detectives.
